How To Crack Almost Any Job Interview

 Hi,

How To Crack Almost Any Job Interview

Research the position you have applied for.

1 .Research the company and try to get some background about the pattern of the interview/selection process by using your network or internet research on some job sites where you can get feedback from the former employees.

2. Prepare well about the most common but difficult question to reply; “Tell us something about yourself/Please take me through your resume”. It sets the tone of the interview. If answered well, you have set an impression on the interview board.

3. List and prepare well about your skill set to match the position. Talk about, how your skill set just fits in the requirement of the job. How do they benefit by hiring you for that position.

4. If you are experienced, answer well all the job related history and for this, prepare well. Project all your job changes or project changes etc as the part of your growth. Be critical while preparing questions from resume and, be creative while drafting answers to those questions. Have logical justifications about certain twists in your resume if there is a brake in job/career continuity. Do not justify everything. If there was a mistake or error, admit with grace and, mention the lesson you learned to go forward in your growth.

5. Do have incidents handy to demonstrate certain skill sets especially which show your emotional intelligence, problem solving, conflict management and other management skills, especially your behaviour as a team mate/team manager as the case may be.

6. If possible, do have a mock interview with someone expert in interviewing.

7. Research internet to find some interview bottle necks applicable to your profile.

8. Admit your limitations.

9. Do not over commit.

10. If you are a fresher, then demonstrate your personality strength based on your college experience and activities. Fit it in the job profile.

11. Do carry some extra copies of CV and photographs.

One final advise; learn the art of asking question. The question you have asked does not give the full information about your experience and other relevant information.

Good wishes for your interview
